Core Strength

Core strength is huge for the health of your back. A pelvic tuck is an easy exercise you can do all day long to increase your core strength and decrease low back pain.

Do this by pulling in your bellybutton (use your lower abdominal muscles only) and tilting your pelvis up to the sky. Be sure not to hold your breath. You should be able to carry on a conversation and tuck your pelvis at the same time. Do this standing, walking, and even sitting.
